About DHSCA
The Digital Health Standards Council of Australasia (DHSCA) is an independent assurance and assessment organisation for digital and AI-enabled health technologies used in Australasian healthcare.
We assess products, the services that deploy them, and the governance around both, against clinical, technical and governance standards.
Why we exist
Digital health technologies are moving faster than clinical and technical governance can keep pace with. DHSCA sits at the deployment layer of digital health and AI tools, assessing products to ensure they are safe, high-quality, create value and do not further widen the health equity gap.
Our scope
DHSCA is established to serve Australasia healthcare services, with our initial operations focused in Australia. New Zealand and Pacific Island Nation services will follow.
Who we work with
DHSCA works with vendors and health service organisations wanting to mature the safety and quality of their digital health products and governance systems.
Our engagements have included Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, Primary Health Networks, international safety and quality bodies and hospital groups deploying digital health and AI-enabled technologies.
