Digital Health and AI Advisory
Overview
DHSCA advises organisations that build, buy, or deliver digital health and AI tools or services. Our work covers governance, clinical safety, data use, evaluation, and the decisions services should make before a tool reaches patients.
Typical engagements include: AI governance framework and risk appetite development, diagnostic safety assessments, pre-AI deployment (for ambient scribes or chatbot integrations) digital health strategy resets, consent model development, and AI governance training for workforce.
Who it's for
-
Health services and providers that must decide whether a tool is safe to put in front of patients
-
Boards and executive teams that carry accountability for a decision they did not have the evidence to make
-
Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations that need governance built on community authority and data sovereignty
-
Primary Health Networks, peak bodies, and not-for-profit organisations that set direction for their members on use of AI
-
Vendors and digital health companies that need governance and evidence in place before a buyer asks for it.
Independence
Independence sets hard limits on this work. DHSCA applies 5-year restriction on personnel conducting advisory work and any assessment linked to the same organisation.
